New Hampshire Marriage Records

New Hampshire marriage records can be ordered from the Department of State’s Division of Vital Records Administration. You can also order them online from a website specializing in providing vital records to the public.

Marriage records are considered private for 50 years after the date they are issued. If you would like to order a record dating within this time, you will need to show that you have a “direct and tangible interest” in the record before you will be allowed to access the information. The people named on the marriage certificate, immediate family members, and an authorized representative acting on their behalf can order copies of these records.
